Well tonight we are keeping this blog short and sweet. The past couple nights have been sleepless due to the Wild Child's teeth. Poor kiddo had a temp and all the good stuff that comes with teething. I could see the tooth and feel it, and guess what........ today it's gone! Argh.. we just wish they would pop up and stay up, know wonder she gets grumpy. But on a brighter note, music always cheers Maily up, especially her music class! These pictures are from last week. She did have fun this week too, but i forgot the camera. The kids love the music. They get a song book and 2 cd's. The instructor is awesome, very enthusiastic, plays the guitar, and has lots of instruments for the kids. And some of the best ones come from the kitchen. And i must say that i enjoy the class too! I get to dance and act goofy and i love the songs! All smiles after class! Here's maily's new bike seat and helmet!
went wee wee wee all the way home! Spring has brought piglets to Windy Acres ( Grandma and Grandpa A's house)! They run around so fast it's hard to keep up with them and boy do they squeal. But Maily's squeal has them beat! Maybe she's just practicing her pig calling, sue wee, sue wee. Could be the next Future farmer of America?
Spring has also brought us a rooster! A rooster named Beanooh! crazy cat loves to sleep in the coup and is often locked in at night. Hiding from coyotes or guarding her friends? hmmm.............
Spring fever has sprung, let the gathering begin! The last weekend of March we went to Jim and Lynn's for brunch! WOW can Lynn cook, and it was great to see everyone! Speaking of cooking.............Daddy has a new helper in the kitchen! Hopefully Maily inherits Jeff's cooking skills and not mine! Not only will Maily be skilled in cooking, but also operating heavy equipment. Hauling large boulders with Daddy is fun!
Yeah, it was a beautiful spring day despite the wind. After last night's rain shower, things are finally looking green! Easter started early with Jeff on cattail removal duty (aka irrigation ditch duty). Not a fun job after it rains, our clay gets a little slippery and sticky. I told him it's like walking in high heels, hahaha. After that, we went grocery shopping, yahoo but it needed to be done and, it's a great time to go while people are at church. Plus, the Easter bunny came while we were shopping. Easter bunny brought books and Maily's favorite is one about DOGS. He also left a couple puzzles. This is what happens when the easter bunny leaves chocolate behind, just kidding After eating candy, we must go for a workout! i guess we get the workout and Maily takes a nap! Maily usually falls asleep within a couple minutes. No body worry, her bike seat arrives this week! and helmet too!
Yes we are still here. Just getting back to normal after a much needed vacation. We decided years ago to give vacations instead of gifts for birthdays and Christmas. Since our birthdays are only a week apart, this year we took off to Red Rock country,Sedona,AZ. The idea was to camp but the weather did not allow. On the first day winds blew 20 to 30 with gusts to 60mph. Our tent(or us) could not handle the conditions. With open minds we headed off to find a hotel room. ANd we found an awesome one with a pool , it was still too chilly for swimming but it looked nice! hiking was incredible! THe Wild Child had a good time, even fell asleep. hiking right from our hotel, What A VIEW After hiking, have to dress up for dinner helping dad fill the tub
