snowy days

Wow, last week we got dumped on and it's still coming down this week! Jeff and i were both sore from shoveling. Poor guy had to shovel our roofs too! We couldn't keep up with it. So for all you that live in warm sunny places, here's some pictures for you!

Snow is up to the windows. THe snow piles are much larger now, i think we have over 3 ft of snow and no where left to put the snow. I hope next week is warm and sunny!

New Year project

Well i completed another quilt. This one i am very happy with. I think it turned out great. I love the colors and all my corners matched up so the design on the back came out great. Not too shabby for my second attempt:) I'm also very excited to say, i have an order for one of my sleeping bags/bed bugs :) I have some great ideas for this one and future ones. I can't wait to get started!
So here is the finished quilt. IT is a rag quilt. It is made out of flannel which means it's super soft.

Happy new Year

Wow, it's 2010! Kind of a funny thing to write but i'm getting use to it. Maily is growing like crazy. She has finally decided to grow some teeth. Which explains our sleepless nights. Oh well, i'm just glad she's getting some teeth. She's been doing some talking and singing and she has some great dance moves! I just love this age!!
For the New Year we celebrated by going on a sleigh ride with Grandpa and Grandma A. Maily loved it but i think she would have liked riding on the horses better:)
