Trip to the Farm

Yahoo for spring time and nice weather! Maily,Friends and I took a tour of Foxfire Farms. What an incredible farm and the kids loved it and so did the Moms! The farm is opening a winery, all their meat is organic/free range and they even started grazing their pigs! I think We will have to take another trip to the farm because Jeff wants to check it out too!
Ready for the farm

Waiting on the wagon for the tractor to pull us along! The kids loved the ride. It took us 1 1/2 hours to tour the Farm which is over 1000 acres.

Here we are at the portable hen house. About 300 chickens for the kids to chase around:)

This is the old one room school house that sits on the property

The kids got to play inside and draw on the chalk board

Having fun running through the grass

All the animals on the farm had babies. THe lambs were so much fun to watch running and jumping and the goats were having a great time kicking up their hoofs. Maily was thrilled by all the babies! ANd then the kiddos wnet to the petting zoo which consisted of ducks, chicks, rabbits and lambs.

It was hilarious watching the older kids chase the ducks around. They would catch them and throw them into the bucket of water. One boy had the duck by it's neck! Poor little animals but all of them survived :) It was a great day

Spring time

We helped the Train celebrate the start of their spring/summer rides to Silverton by hanging out at the train station and listening to the Bar D, eating hotdogs, and visiting snoopy:)

Maily loved Snoopy. She would drag Grandma to him every time she saw him!
See what too many hot dogs does to me:)

At home goofing around

Maily loves her fort. We tear it apart and put it back together

Playing outside. Her feet almost touch the pedals

Our own little snoopy, River. I think Maily calls him Liver
