Keeping busy

We have had some crazy storms recently and the last one surprised us with a beautiful rainbow!

Looking for trouble

So we have been staying busy around here. Jeff's been working on an old trailer that will be our guest house/man cave. I think it will be his get away, hahahaha And i've been nesting. I'm having fun sewing and creating new projects. Here are some of them.

Pictures do not do it justice. IT was a fun project and Jeff and Maily ( my two best critics) love it. It's all done in fabric and I"m finding it more rewarding than painting. Someday i'll go back to painting but right now, this is something i can do with Maily playing in the studio.

end of August

WOw August has flown bye! Our Grandpa or Pa pa is what Maily calls him, moved back to MI. Here we are having dinner with great Grandpa before he leaves. We sure do miss him but we hope he is having lots of fun with his friends in MI and staying cool:)

We have lots of fun painting rocks. It's cheap, messy, fun entertainment and we decorate the yard with them!

Where did that belly come from?

dog days of summer

These are the dog days of summer! It's been hot! And when it hasn't been hot, it's been storming which we will gladly take the rain!!
SO what do we do on these days....................we pick on River

We dance in the rain with our "bra." Maily's word for umbrella

We ride the horse that Pa got for his grandkids! It may look big, but our little monkey has no problem getting on it!

And we have fun rolling around in our PJs
